Ok, I'm a freindly person and enjoy being around all kinds of different people. But I can not stand working in the corporate stores. I am used to a small convenience store, where I could actually treat my customers as they deserved to be treated.
A couple of months ago, I started as a representative for Scent-sations, Mia Bella Candles. I love the whole concept because I can help others and at the same time direct sell, going for fundraising and home parties. Taking it slow.. takes time to get your name out there..
A friend of mine decided to have a book party and I can't believe the amount of orders she is getting for me. She is a special friend from high school, I just wish that she could see the opportunity. Well I guess she does see the opportunity, but she feels that she can't sell! Well, hello!!!!!.. LOL.. It is looking like she'll have a 5 or $600. party in the end, but she can't sell.. ok..
My sister is doing the same thing, she gets her candle of the month each month, retails them out and is so afraid to actually get into the business. I feel bad because of the orders she sends to me, SHE could be making the profit and commisions but doesn't want to be bothered? Again. .. hello...!!! what gives?
Meanwhile, I am looking for candle craft ideas for a craft show that I'll be doing in the fall. This is what I really like because I can give money back to the community, offering percents of the sales, plus I know I'll enjoy doing this!
